Canada Day Celebrations Expand to North Side of Wascana

Canada Day celebrations will be hosted on the north side of Wascana Centre in the beautiful gardens and green space around the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, returning to the tradition of previous years.

I will be helping to serve at the free pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and hope to see you there. Then enjoy live stage shows, the first annual family fun run and walk (click here to register), sports demonstrations, retailers, food vendors, and much more!

Events on the south side of Wascana (in front of the Legislative Building and close to the Albert Street bridge) include Western Canada's Strongest Man Competition, the 21 Gun Salute, and the Plywood Cup

And don't miss the spectacular fireworks display starting at 10:30 p.m!

Many thanks to the dedicated volunteers of the Regina Canada Day Committee who organize and plan the celebrations for everyone to enjoy. They encourage you to 'think green' and take advantage of the Bike Regina valet service located close to the venue, or Regina Transit which will be operating on a Sunday/Holiday schedule
