Province Celebrates Saskatchewan Habitat Day

In recognition of Habitat for Humanity chapters and affiliates in Saskatchewan, and their many partner families and volunteers, Social Services Minister Paul Merriman, has proclaimed May 4, 2018, as Saskatchewan Habitat Day. Families who have achieved Habitat homes, partners and volunteers will celebrate the occasion today at a barbecue event at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm. The province’s overall commitment to Habitat for Humanity totals $10.85 million since March 2009, which includes $3 million cost-shared with the federal government.
